Weekly Tarot Reading: December 25-31, 2016

Good Evening Love Bugs,

We have finally made it to the last week of 2016. We have made it to the end of the year of endings! Its time for a celebration 🎉. But, before we celebrate 2017, the year of creation, we have to tend to some final business to close out the year.

The Maiden of Seas fell out of the deck at me as I was shuffling. This week may be a very emotional week for some. I am sensing that a lot of you are taking this time to do a "year in review" to see how far you've come just since January 1, 2016. Seeing your growth and development may bring on a feeling of overwhelming gratitude and love. Yet, I also see that the emotions that some of you will be having this week will be because you're still holding on to something that the Universe is demanding that you leave in 2016. If you do not release it willingly then the Universe will snatch it from you abruptly. Either way that it happens, it must be left behind, and the more you fight it the greater the emotional turbulence will be for you this week.

The 7 of Earth comes to you to say that you are not a failure. Yes your leaves have withered, and your tree is bare, but that's how it supposed to be at this time. Winter is a time of death and renewal. Today is the birthday of the Sun, which means that today is the beginning of the renewal/rebirth process. Notice in the picture that even though the backdrop and sky is a gloomy grey, the aura around the tree is lit up in white. Shining in spite of the situation around it. That means that the light of the Universe is with you at this time. Although you think you may not be able to see it or feel it, if you take a careful look around you the Universe has been giving you signs that you are safe and protected during this process.

The 4 of Wind reversed comes to ask us to be patient with ourselves at this time. I get a sense that some of you are feeling rushed to get something complete before 2016 ends. The Universe is saying stop rushing. Time is relative. What you may sense as 7 days can be 7 minutes or 7 years. What is meant to be accomplished in 2016 will happen. If it hasn't happened then just be patient. It will happen exactly when its supposed to, in Divine timing.

The Reversed Maiden of Fire is a reminder of Mercury Retrograde. The fiery Maiden is flipped upside down because of the miscommunication that Mercury Retrograde often causes. This Maiden may also be reversed because of the lack of patience that we may have with ourselves this week and the feelings of failure that we're projecting. This Maiden is asking that we have faith and continue to diligently work towards the things that we want manifested in our life. She asks us to remember the creative fire that we have stored within us to bring about our desires. In remembering who and what you are you will be able to not only remove the fear failure that you have but also manifest in perfect alignment with Divine timing.

Finally Lilith comes to us to as a reminder of the power that each and every one of us holds. Lilith is known for her independent streak and fiery nature. She did not consider herself submissive to man, but as an equal. She stood in her power because again, she knew who she was. Not only did she know who she was, but she would not settle for being treated like she was smaller than the Goddess that she is. Take this week to tap into Lilith's power. Relish in the confidence that Lilith exudes and allow it to push your confidence in yourself higher. Spread your wings and allow yourself to be free of the fear that you are having about the future. You have the power within you. The question is are you going to tap into it?
