Weekly Tarot Reading: April 9-15, 2017

Its weekly tarot reading time and we have a very inspiring week ahead of us!

The High Priestess jumped out of the deck to start the week off today. Isis is the Egyptian Divine Feminine which is a great symbol for the High Priestess. On this SUNday we are highlighting the divine feminine within all of us. We are acknowledge and remember that we are all magical and powerful beings. We must also remember that we have to hone in on these powers, listen to our intuition, and follow the path that our guides have laid out for us. What really stuck out to me about this reading was that Isis is connected to Yemaya and Gaia in this diagonal pattern. Look for Today, Wednesday and Thursday to be closely linked. Also look for major things to occur on those days as these are major arcana cards.

The Maiden of Earth on Monday is a great indicator of the things that can be manifested during the full moon. This Maiden is all about living life lavishly and full of luxury. She has everything that she desires in life and she knows how to maintain the lifestyle that she wants. You too can have this abundance in your life. Taking the time now to strategically plan for your come up is of great importance. You have the Full Moon and the retrogrades assisting you with laying out a great plan to bring you financial abundance in the near future. Be sure to take advantage of this on Monday.

The reversed Crone of Seas on Tuesday is the perfect card for the full moon in Libra. The Crone of Seas (King of Cups in a traditional deck) is associated with Libra as well as Scorpio. This Crone is about transmuting Water into Air, feelings into ideas. The reversal of this card says that this Full Moon in Libra, as well as Tuesday, is going to be an emotional one. This is going to be a great time of emotional vulnerability. I look at this card like a mini Tower card because it can be destructive in the sense that it shakes you up emotionally to remove people and things that are preventing you from thinking straight. After this happens you have a fresh wave of ideas because the blinders have come off and you're no longer thinking with your feelings.

The World Card on Wednesday is like the Maiden of Earth on Monday times 100. The possibilities on Wednesday are a direct reflection of the work that you've done so far this week. Did you tap into your inner high priestess? Are you following your intuition and your guides? Have you set your intentions to manifest your desires? Have you released those feelings for the people and things no longer serving you? If you have done the work then the world is your reward. This card comes to say that you can have anything that you desire as long as you do the work!

The Oracle on Thursday is like the reversed Crone of Seas on Tuesday amplified. Yemaya comes to place your feelings under a magnifying glass. This day is all about sitting with how you are feeling and being vulnerable with yourself. If you have done the work on Tuesday then you will have a feeling of being renewed, a sense of joy, and ideas about the way forward. If you haven't done the work then you may feel a sense of heaviness, be ashamed, and may even be volatile as you may feel overwhelmed with feelings.

The reversed Mother of Fire on Friday comes with the message that you need to spend the day getting organized. Regardless whether you have done the work or you got your ass handed to you by Yemaya, you still have more work to do. (Have you not realized that the work is never ending? lol) If you have done the work today is the day to take those fresh ideas and lay out your plan. Organize them in a way that makes sense to you, that is most beneficial to you, and that will lead you to the World card.

The reversed Ace of Wind on Saturday is an indication that the end of the week may be a little dramatic. This is common when you're on your shit and doing the work. There are always going to be haters, nay sayers, and people in your lane. This card is a sign that you may come to heads with one of these people. It may be a hurtful conversation especially if this person is close to you. The key to navigating this is to not engage. Continue to focus on doing you and maintaining your lane. Do not be distracted by this drama. Do not let it get to you or discourage you.
